CHAPTER 2

          “Excuse me. Catherine is it?” Albus started the conversation.

“Yes, you’re Albus right” she replied with her sweet voice

“Can I see you for a moment please?” He asked

“Ya! Sure”

They went in front of the row coming even closer to my ear.

“Well my friend has a huge crush on .....” he was saying

I was frozen at this point.

“..... I mean, okay let’s face the truth, this might sound awkward but I've a crush on Laura”

I was so relieved

“Seriously, you have crush on Laura” she laughed “why are you telling me this then”

“I would like to seat with her and ask her out.”

“The answer will obviously be in negatory”

“You think I'm unaware of that. I want to be a friend of her and then I’ll ask her out. Please let me sit on your seat.”

 “I've no problem but I'm damn sure she’ll ask me the reason of sudden shifting.”

“So you tell her that you’ve a crush on Robert”

“Robert, your best friend. But still, why would I do so?”

“Please, I owe you a coffee.”

“Okay a coffee is due. For how long you’ll be sitting there.”

“I don’t know”

“Make it fast”

I was really happy that Albus did it. I felt someone sitting and I was damn sure that it was her.

“Hey, Robert isn’t it?” She asked

“Yeah, you?” I tried to be smart

“Catherin Wilson”

“So, you’re the partner of that yeller. Has she yelled at you yet?”

“No. Never gave a chance to.”

“How is your boyfriend and his swag?”

“We broke up”

”Oh my god! What happened?”

“Nothing, he was a dork. Not my kind of person.”

“What kind of boy you like.”

“Well, basically....”

“Well break is over. Get back to your seat” Mr Evans commanded.

“Damn it!” I screeched and she looked at me and few other students, but not Mr Evans.

“What happened?”

“Nothing, just mad as physics is back”

Whoa that was amazing. For the first time I got to talk to her. But I was confused when is the right time to ask someone out. I knew a person who asks out a lot and I was going to take some classes from him.

“First try to be a good friend of her.” Albus said

“How?”

“Talk about your tragic family. Gain her sympathy. Ask about her family. Do anything.” He answered. “Tomorrow ask about her family.”

“How was your time with Laura?” I asked hilariously

“Don’t ask me, I just said hello and she stared at me and damn her frowning are dangerous”

“God for you”

Next day at cafeteria I was sitting alone, Albus was out to lab doing his pending works.

“Do you mind sitting here, there no one with whom I could sit and I never sit alone?” Catherine said completely flabbergasting me.

“Yeah sure, Al is out to lab” I answered coolly

“Has anything happened between Laura and Albus? He must’ve told you.”

“Nothing, but he said hello. Well that’s something. Leave it. Let’s talk about you, your family.”

“My both mom and dad are architect, Met in high school. And I'm a single child. What about you?”

“Don’t ask me”

“Why? Come on.”

“They’re getting a divorce and I've no idea what the hell is going to happen afterwards”

“Oh! Sorry.”

“You’re lucky even all those students in cafeteria but me”

The bell rings at this moment and I thought that I'd taken the first step what Albus had taught me.

“Now what do I do” I asked Albus
